The Hare's Adventure - Part 2

First, Lily took Hare to Flower Street. There were a lot of flowers and the grass was greener than ever. On Flower Street, there was a building that said ‘The Twin Lions’ Hotel Mall’. Lily took Hare inside. It said on the mat ‘Floor number ONE’. Hare wondered how many floors there were in this building. So he asked Lily, “How many floors are in this building?”. Well, Lily did not know this, so she said,” Well, good question. I actually do not know that and I live here!” Lily said.
So they asked the tiger at the hot dog stand, ”Excuse me. How many floors are in this building?” “I do not know! That is a good question!” the tiger responded. Lily, Hare, and the tiger did not know how many floors the building had! So they went together to the candy shop. There was a cat working there. “Say pal. Do you know how many floors this building has?” the tiger asked the cat. “Well pal, I do NOT know. Good question.” So the cat left the shop and said,” I will come along with you guys till we find the answer to this question. Besides, who asked it?” Lily said, “Hare did!”
Hare felt like there was only one floor. “Is there only one floor?” Hare asked. “We said we do not know, Hare!” the tiger and cat said simultaneously. “Is there anyone else who might know how many floors there are?” Lily asked. “Well, there is Joey and Mary that we did not ask. Why not give it a try?” the cat suggested. “Hey guys, this would not have happened if I had not asked Lily how many floors there are. Forget it. I do not want to know how many floors there are anymore!” Hare said. “ You are right,” Lily said. “No! We must not stop!” the tiger said. He was gnashing his teeth. “We finish what we start!” the cat yelled.
When they got to Joey the kangaroo Lily asked, ”Do you know how many floors there are?” “Well, I do not know!” Joey replied. “Let me come along.” Joey continued. “Now, only Mary is left to ask.” The tiger said. So they went to Mary and asked, “How many floors are in this building?”
So, they asked Mary and would you guess what she said, “ one floor”!!
