Harry Potter - The End Begins

The Dark Lord has risen,
The Ministry has fallen,
Hogwarts has been captured...

The whole wizarding world has been taken over by Voldemort and the death eaters. There is chaos everywhere. Muggles and aurors are being killed. But the most priceless possession is the BOY WHO LIVED, Harry Potter, who is being hunted down. What can Harry along with his friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger do to vanquish the Lord?

J.K Rowling's last installment, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, has been made in two parts -- out of which the first part was released on the 17th November, 2010 and second part in July 2011.

After watching the first part of the movie, a variety of uncanny emotions passed through me. I didn't know whether I should feel sad or happy, but I chose the latter. The full movie was full of action, suspense and romance. Some parts like the conversations between Ron and Hermione were funny and the audience laughed many times.

The movie was shot outside Hogwarts. So, it was weird to see the trio in normal dresses rather than in black dress robes. The movie starts with Scrimgeour announcing the threat posed by death eaters. The action drifts on to Harry who is transported away from 4 Privet Drive by Alastor Moody and the Order. Finally after the attack at the wedding, the three of them set out to find horcruxes.

Alas! At the end of the movie, they had only destroyed one horcrux. Disturbing and slightly violent scenes were shown in Xenophilious Lovegood's home, Malfoy Manor and Godric's Hollow. The movie did not match the book in some places. The show Ron leaving Harry not because he was jealous of Harry(as shown in the book), but because he thought Harry and Hermione were excluding him in their plans. Also, Harry did not drink polyjuice potion or use the invisibility cloak in Godric's Hollow and the wedding scene which slightly deviated from the book. But overall, it was an enjoyable movie and I suggest all fans to immediately book tickets for it.

When I looked at the morning newspaper, it was full of mourning about the end of Harry Potter series. Many of you, Youngzine readers many feel the same way too, but despair not, there is still time till July 2011!

The fifth movie should have been in two parts.

I agree. Wish both the movies could have been released together. I can't wait for another 8 months for the second movie. That's just too long...

no way he belives that any one who isn't a half blood is dirty which odd because thinking everyone is pure blood. And how do you know if you were his follower weren't going to kill you at any time if he did something wrong.
