I Love New York City
Families jogging,
Side by side,
Taxis inquire,
“Do you need a ride?”
I smell car fumes,
As they go by,
Babies scream,
And start to cry.
Skyscrapers stretch,
Up to the Sun,
Construction waiting
To be done.
Yes, New York City is
A place for all,
Winter or Spring,
Summer or Fall.
This poem means much about New York and the people that live there.
